News j_glithero writes "Hi, I have been using CFD software for 5 years. Currently, I work for an Aerospace company using Icepak 4.0. I am also starting my quest for a Master of Engineering in Energy (CFD/Heat transfer). The software that the university uses is STAR-CD and I was curious if they have a student version that can be used for a semester or so? Thanks, -Jason"

[ed] - Depending on your requirements, I think you will find the major CFD vendors to be very amicable towards students. You should try to contact the CFD vendor directly and explain your situation. Good luck and please let us know what happens.
