CFdesign v7.0 is Solid Edge Certified

News Blue Ridge Numerics received formal notification today that its recently released CFdesign® v7.0 fluid flow and thermal simulation software satisfies all requirements of the Solid Edge Certified Select Partner Solution Program.

This important designation assures Solid Edge customers CFdesign v7.0 provides the highest level integrated solution. Today’s announcement reaffirms the on-going partnership between Blue Ridge Numerics and Solid Edge to provide an integrated virtual prototyping solution.

“Our corporate mission has always been to empower product development teams with an affordable, easy-to-learn, easy-to-use CFD tool that is an extension of the 3D MCAD system,” stated Blue Ridge Numerics president, Ed Williams. “Solid Edge users want CFD that adds value during the early stages of the product development process. Industry-First Turbo and Translating Machinery Optimization CFdesign v7.0 includes the industry-first Motion Module which puts native Solid Edge v15 components and assemblies in motion, showing the interaction and effects between the physical device and its fluids environment.
