Problems with Fluent Initialization

Help Desk marta writes "Hi everybody,

I’m working with Fluent and I need to split my mesh of a strange pipe into two parts. The problem now is that I would like to use the Initialization section with Patch, to initialize the entrance of the second pipe with the data coming from the outlet of the first pipe already calculated.

Does anybody know if it’s possible to do so? My problem is that the more I read about the Patch option the more it seems that only a value can be specified for an entire region.

Thanks for your help"
