| How Honda Engineers Keep from Being Delusional |

|
The Honda Motorcycle R&D Center has been using Cradle SC/Tetra
CFD software for nearly ten years to perform thermal analyses for key
motorcycle engine components and systems. They know that obtaining
accurate CFD predictions is dependent on several factors. Some of these
factors are software dependent, and some are process dependent.
They include ensuring the CFD software can accurately simulate the
fluid/thermal phenoma, the model quality is satisfactory, the correct
input conditions are specified, and the output results can be
post-processed for visualization and comparison to available measured
data. Honda chose SC/Tetra CFD software for its accuracy, speed,
ease of use, and post-processing capabilities.
