3Dlabs Reports Loss - Aquisition by Creative

	3Dlabs, makers of high-end graphics boards for PCs, has announced a wider than expected fourth quarter loss of $8.9 million. The company has also entered a definitive agreement to be aquired by Creative Technology. Creative Technology (aka Creative Labs) is a shareholder in 3Dlabs and has worked with the company since 1995 when the two combined to release a 3D gaming board. 3Dlabs will continue to supply, support and develop all of its product lines, including Wildcat® and Oxygen®, with no expected disruption in supply to any of its customers.
