The array of Boeing software that will be available from RAND Worldwide will represent a broad variety of applications encompassing engineering design, computational fluid dynamics, text mining and natural language processing, various mathematical and modeling solutions, complex computations, haptics, human modeling systems, and business operations.
“We are honored and extremely pleased that Boeing, whose extraordinary commitment to and expertise in engineering excellence is recognized throughout the world, has chosen RAND Worldwide to sell and support their technology,” said Frank Baldesarra, President and Chief Operating Officer of RAND Worldwide. “We are also very excited to be able to introduce these powerful technologies to companies that will benefit from Boeing’s unique manufacturing and information systems experience.”
While much of this software technology has been and continues to be created to solve challenges directly related to aircraft design and manufacture, much of it can also be used in a wide variety of manufacturing and business applications. Accordingly, the Boeing Intellectual Property Business is licensing it to RAND for sales and support.
