Richard Roy Joins NIKA GmbH Advisory Board

News NIKA GmbH, the leading provider of fluid flow and heat transfer simulation software for engineers, has appointed Richard Roy to its advisory board. Roy who has more than twenty years of experience in the IT industry, most recently served as the CEO of Microsoft GmbH. He will collaborate with NIKA’s management team on strategies for increasing NIKA’s market share and revenue growth.

“Richard has an extensive background in leading successful IT companies and we are looking forward to learning from his experience,” said Bertram Anderer, chief sales officer at NIKA. “We are very pleased to welcome him to our advisory board and are very fortunate to have him on our team.”

Roy started his career with Hewlett Packard where he held various management and executive positions. He later joined Siemens Nixdorf AG as a member of the executive board. Following Siemens, he joined Microsoft GmbH where he served as the CEO for four years. Currently, he works as an independent consultant with supervisory board responsibilities at Realtech AG, Lion Bioscience AG, Germany and Swisscom AG, Switzerland.
