Fluent Opens New Texas Office as Icepak Headquarters

News Fluent Inc., the world leader in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and consulting services, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Austin, Texas to be the worldwide headquarters of its Icepak division.

The new office is located in an important manufacturing region of the United States and is a consequence of the rapid growth in Fluent’s Icepak related electronics industry simulations business since 1997, from a very small base to be the fastest growing CFD and allied simulation services provider to Electronics companies.

The Icepak division of Fluent remains focused on delivering quality high-performance design tools for the electronics industry. Icepak’s suite of design and analysis software offerings currently encompasses Icepak, the leading electronics thermal design tool, Icemax, the most advanced parasitic extraction tool for analyzing complex IC package designs, Iceboard, a new board-level thermal validation tool for printed circuit board designers, IcePro, the mechanical CAD interface to Icepak, and Qfin, the heat sink design and optimization tool.

Sathyamurthy oversees Fluent’s worldwide Electronic simulation operations from the Austin office. Austin serves as the focal point for development, product marketing, sales and technical services for all products under the Icepak family.

The Icepak division also operates sales and technical services from Lebanon (NH), and Santa Clara (CA) in the US, Wavre (Belgium) in Europe, Tokyo (Japan), Pune (India), and through partners in China, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, and Finland. The Icepak worldwide headquarters is located at 2700 Via Fortuna, Suite 301, Austin, TX 78746, USA.
