NIKA GmbH, the leading provider of fluid flow and heat transfer simulation software for engineers, has selected CFD Technologies as a distributor for its family of Engineering Fluid Dynamics (EFD) products. NIKA develops and distributes EFD.Lab, an industry leading fluid flow and heat transfer simulation program, as well as EFD.V5, which offers seamless integration between Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA V5 and NIKA’s analysis technology. CFD Technologies will sell and support both EFD.Lab and EFD.V5 in the United Kingdom.

“As more companies adopt a more streamlined approach to product development, design engineers need to conduct first level analysis to overcome design challenges” said John Stone, managing director of CFD Technologies. “However, most analysis tools are not equipped to handle their needs. These programs were originally designed for specialists; therefore, they are very difficult to use. NIKA’s products fill-in the gap left by these products. They are truly integrated within a CAD environment. They eliminate data transfer between the design and analysis platforms and eradicate creation of the “empty” fluid region from the CAD geometry. They also offer effortless model and mesh preparation. We are very excited about introducing these revolutionary fluid flow analysis technologies to the UK design community.”
“We are very proud to include CFD Technologies in our international sales and support network” added Bertram Anderer, the sales managing director at NIKA. “John’s extensive background in fluid flow analysis will help ensure the availability of local support for our customers in the UK”.
NIKA’s products are mainly used for the development and optimization of various products such as automotive parts, computer housings, switching units, electronic devices, HVAC systems, valves and regulators, medical equipment, as well as building and fire protection industries.
