AxSTREAM is meant for design, analysis, multidisciplinary optimization and retrofitting of axial, radial, counter-rotating and mixed flow configurations. It consists of modules for preliminary design, 1D/2D analysis, flow path multidisciplinary optimization, airfoil profiling, 3D blade stacking and 3D FEA/CFD analysis.

In addition to being chosen by Beijing University of Technology in China, AxSTREAM is successfully used by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Moscow Aviation Institute (Russia), Kaluga Branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Russia), Pennsylvania State University (USA), Tsinghua University (China), Namik Kemal University (Turkey), Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (Ukraine) and many other schools worldwide.
