Announcements The Fluids and Combustion Engineering Network is holding a course on CFD in Biomass Combustion on 25-29 October 2004 at the Institute of Energy Technology, in Aalborg, Denmark.

The primary objective of the course is to present state-of-the-art models in the area of solid fuel combustion, with special focus on biomass fuels, and to give practical examples of their application. The use of CFD, as a tool to transfer knowledge from basic research to end-users in industry, will be the overall theme.
