| Automating CAD and CAE Tools |

Once in ModelCenter, the components can be linked to one another to form an automated design system. A critical issue in trade studies analysis is the desire to accelerate the time-consuming detailed design step.
Integrating CAD tools with ModelCenter decreases product development cycle times. Changes to the design are made and evaluated entirely within ModelCenter. An example design problem modeled in various CAD/CAE tools will be integrated into ModelCenter so detailed design trade-studies can be conducted automatically.
