“The STAR European Conference 2009 will focus on Automated CAE analysis,in which multiple simulations are performed with minimal user intervention,” says Bill Clark, CD-adapco’s Senior VP of Operations. “Adopting this philosophy not only provides a more complete picture of how a product actually performs in service, but helps to free the user from the mechanics of performing the CFD calculations, providing more time for true engineering analysis and thus leading to unprecedented innovation”
The agenda includes:
- Marine sessions with presentations from
- Lloyd’s Register Of Shipping
- Germanischer Lloyd
- Professor Milovan Perić
- Transportation sessions with presentations from
- Volvo 3p
- Ford
- Bombardier Transportation
- BEHR
- Energy sessions with presentations from
- BP
- Prospect Flow Solutions
- Vestas
- Demonstrations of CD-adapco technology will include
- Automation using JAVA
- Automated Meshing
- Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction (6DOF)
- Automated Flow, Thermal and Stress analysis using STAR-CCM+
- An optional third day including:
- Free STAR-CCM+ V4 orientation training or
- The European ICE user meeting, at which you can meet and interact with leading engine simulation experts.
“The STAR European Conference 2009 is about you getting the most out of CD-adapco's rapidly evolving CAE technology,” says Clark. “By keeping in touch with the very latest technology and techniques, you will be able to leverage the full potential of industrial flow simulation in your engineering process.”
The conference will be held March 23-25 in London, England. To register please click here.
