News CD-adapco will host the STARGlobal Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Forum 2009 on September 1-2 in Long Beach, California.

This STAR GlobalForum will showcase the results and business benefits achieved by leading global companies in the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Industries through the use of engineering simulation.

Forum Agenda
This event will host feature speakers John Melton from NASA AMES and Dr. Milovan Peric industry expert in the field of CFD modeling for Marine applications and co-author (with J H Ferziger) of Computational Methods for Fluid Mechanics.

Following our featured speakers, we will be hosting a roundtable discussion on the future engineering challenges that the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine industries will face. The panel will consist of industry leaders from corporations, media, and academia. This is sure to be a highly engaging discussion that you do not want to miss.

The CD-adapco users will then take center stage as they present a few of their most interesting flow, thermal, and stress applications. The topics run the gamut of the industries including unmanned systems, submarine hydrodynamics, America’s Cup racing yachts, missiles, space vehicles, and more.

Workshops and Demonstrations
In addition to the Forum the event will host a series of workshops and demonstrations. Attendees who choose to participate in these practical “hands-on” sessions will discover first-hand how easy it now is to get useful engineering insight from new software tools and user environments.
