Automated Simulation in the Aerospace Industry

	CD-adapco will host the webinar Automated Simulation in the Aerospace Industry: Mitigating Risk, Reducing Cost and Minimizing Cycle Time on August 27th at 11am EDT. This online webinar will discuss the evolution of the virtual testbed in the aerospace industry and how it continues to impact design cycle times and contribute to risk mitigation.

	Demonstrators will explore the benefits of using an integrated platform for performing multi-physics simulations, including flow, thermal and stress analysis for aerospace applications. Guest Speaker: Paul Vasilescu, VP of Engineering American Dynamics Mr. Vasilescu will discuss the development of the AD-150 VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), and how computational Fluid Dynamics models were automated to rapidly build accurate aerodynamics databases. He will discuss how these data were use to further improve the design and to supplement the testing program. Attendees will experience how powerful automation capabilities within engineering simulation can significantly impact rapid design and prototyping.
