CFD Simulation for Flow Assurance

	To gain greater productivity and efficiency, Oil & Gas companies are looking for ways to improve everything from the extraction, processing and delivery of hydrocarbons; to improving offshore platform designs; to addressing the challenges of producing in harsher climates and greater offshore depths. CD-adapco will host a webinar on this topic titled CFD Simulation for Flow Assurance on March 3, 2011 at 3:30pm GMT (London).

	To take on these issues, engineers are increasingly relying on simulation to gain deeper insight on how fluid dynamics and thermal behavior can impact exploration, production and processing. This complimentary webinar will show examples of powerful multiphase flow/thermal simulation across a full spectrum of 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D physics fidelity, and how it can provide essential engineering insight in the design of components, equipment and systems. CFD experts will conduct a live demonstration, walking attendees through an entire process including geometry import and surface wrapping, to solution calculations and visualization.
