The technical organization is informal, and offers the option of podium and poster presentations.
The goals of the symposium are to:
- Communicate recent work, new research ideas, and work
in progress
- Exchange ideas involving development of libraries,
solvers, and utilities which extend the capability of
OpenFOAM® technology
- Provide an opportunity for interaction between
researchers, developers, and practitioners
- Offer graduate students a friendly forum for
presenting thesis work
- Provide hands-on training on the theory and use of
OpenFOAM® technology
and on related pre- and
post-processing tools and processes
More information will be provided at the community portal of the Extend project and the OpenFOAM Workshop Website in due time.
