High Speed Motor Boat Simulation

Announcements NUMECA International will host High Speed Motor Boat Simulation with FINE/Marine on March 13th.

The simulation of motor boats using CFD is becoming a must since the resistance prediction with basic numerical tools is incomplete and since model testing is quite difficult taking into account that the engine should also be present for a maximum of accuracy.

On top of this, CFD can provide a complete description of the resistance (air and water parts), special requirements for maneuvering in calm or real sea conditions or calculating the efficiency of the engine for instance.
