Announcements Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) problems occur when fluid/thermal flow and structural deformations depend on each other.  In the past, simulation of these interactions have been largely ignored because of difficulties coupling the CFD and Structural FEA solutions together during solution convergence.

Cradle will host an FSI Seminar on September 18-19 to provide a foundation for setting up and solving FSI problems using Cradle SC/Tetra CFD Software and Abaqus.

The course will include step-by-step, hands-on instructions for setting up and solving two-way FSI problems. It will include a detailed discussion about verifying simulation accuracy. One-way applications will also be covered.

Attendees should be familiar with the basic operations of SC/Tetra V10 and Abaqus 6.12 or equivalent.
