The event will be held March 22nd in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Whether you are new to the field of engineering simulation, experienced in computer-aided design or just have an interest in any of the following, this session will give you helpful insight into how simulation adds more value to:
- Product Design and Optimization
- Process, Separation & Produced Water
- Operational Performance Improvement
- Technical Safety and Environmental Management
- Simulation of Solids Transportation and Mixing
- System Integrity Including Erosion and Vibration
Industry-focused examples provided by the presenters will demonstrate how computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation is used to improve and optimize equipment design and aid in the development of more effective and reliable oil and gas transportation, production and process systems.
GUEST PRESENTER:
Dr. Matt Straw has spent 20 years tackling engineering simulation challenges. His experience was gained by providing services to the oil and gas industry, including thermal management, solids transport and multiphase flow. He currently works for Norton Straw Consultants, providing engineering, product development and technology management services to its customers.
