ISimT-17 Symposium on Innovative Simulations in Turbomachinery

Announcements ISimQ invites you to ISimT-17, its second annual Symposium on Innovative Simulations in Turbomachinery, on 20 and 21 November 2017 in Rottach-Egern at lake Tegernsee, Germany.

The symposium stands for a lively and creative exchange on innovative turbomachinery simulation technology through dialogue with experts and peers. There will be presentations from all areas of turbomachinery: pumps, water turbines, fans, propellers, compressors, gas, steam and wind turbines.

ISimT-17 will commence on 20 November 2017, 13:00 h, with technical presentations by attendees.

The 2017 keynote speakers are:

  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Seume (Leibniz Universität Hannover) on “Using CFD to Improve the Yield of Experiments”
  • Dirk Nürnberger (Siemens) on “Experiences on using High-Fidelity CFD for Gas Turbine Design related in Industrial Environment”
  • Georg Scheuerer (ISimQ) on “Quantification of Numerical Errors and Uncertainties in Turbomachinery Simulations”.

    The first day will close with a Symposium dinner.
