Opening The Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Center of Excellence at Applied Material is seeking outstanding CAE engineer in plasma simulations for hardware and process development of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The candidate will have the opportunity to explore fundamental plasma physics in the areas of thermally equilibrium plasma, global plasma, plasma-materials interaction and particle transport in plasmas. There is also the opportunity to develop advanced multiscale simulation techniques for both unmagnetized and magnetized plasmas.

Opening Applications are invited for a Researcher to take a leading role on the research project: Large scale production of tailored nano-oxides by advanced, high-output, high-versatility flame spray pyrolysis.

The collaborative project is supported by the European Commission and aims to design and construct a prototype industrial production equipment to produce nano powders with greater control over particle size. As the lead researcher on the project Kingston will carry out computer simulation and experimental tests to investigate the formation of nano particles in the process, which will be used for equipment design and process control for the project.
