	Develops computational models and performs experimental validation of components in the Transonic Combustion fuel injection system. This novel and advanced high fuel efficiency combustion process utilizes gasoline in a high compression ratio engine architecture. The Senior Engineering Analyst is responsible for flow and heat transfer modeling of fuel system components and sub systems including direct injection fuel injectors, high pressure fuel pumps, fuel distribution rails, chemical reactors, engine intake and exhaust systems, and heat exchangers. Provides analysis used to guide design decisions and facilitate product development on an accelerated schedule. Designs and executes bench-top and engine-based experiments for model validation.
