Khamsin version 0.7 introduces a number of changes and new features:
  • The software client-server has been rearranged to no longer require a server. Everything happens within SketchUp;
  • A utility is provided that aims to facilitate the setting of environment variables and includes the capability of testing the installation;
  • OpenFOAM: The openFoam trim mesh snappyHexMesh has been incorporated which allows for trim mesh, thin wall (i.e an wall represented by a face with fluid on both sides. An example would be the sail of a boat);
  • OpenFOAM: The user can generate boundary layer on tetrahedral and trim mesh - using snappyHexMesh again;
  • Dolfyn: The numerical methods have been changed to be more suited to tetrahedral meshes.
