ThermoAnalytics, Inc., a leader in advanced thermal, fluid-flow, and infrared modeling software, marks a new level of performance with Version 11.3 of its RadTherm®, RadThermIR®, and MuSES® software suite.
Version 11.3 showcases several features and enhancements including improved graphics window performance, increased post processing speed, enhanced fluid streams, and the use of phase change materials.

The upgrade to the graphics window is one of the most exciting pieces of the 11.3 release. The graphics performance has increased by 10x-100x which will render images faster than ever. Performance is maximized for high-end graphic systems which enables engineers to simulate larger models, explore more engineering solutions and accelerate virtual product development processes.
Another key enhancement in Version 11.3 is our improved fluid stream algorithm. The enhanced fluid stream feature generates convection paths through even the most complex geometry while still remaining easy to edit and giving users the ability to simulate convection extremely quickly.
Phase change materials are now available and can be used to simulate solid-liquid phase change. This feature can mirror encapsulated phase change materials and freezing/melting fluid materials where convective flows can be simplified.
The new post processing features make it easier to analyze radiation on component and element level making it easier to understand thermally sensitive design areas. These enhancements help engineers implement improved product development processes that will save valuable computational resources.
With Version 11.3, engineers will see improvements across the board in speed and accuracy, continuing to help our customers achieve faster time-to-market and tighter integration of testing and simulation processes.
