News Version 9.1 of FINE™/Open with OpenLabs™ is out now, offering big savings in engineering and CPU time.

It includes the new AutoSeal tool that automatically creates surfaces to close holes and gaps for any given configurations. It allows for example to prepare a simulation-ready car cabin geometry in a few minutes, while this usually requires weeks of engineering effort.

And the distributed parallel version of HEXPRESS™/Hybrid can be launched on thousands of cores, leveraging its distributed memory parallel mode with either Open or Intel MPI libraries. This allows for a 1 billion cells mesh to be generated in ~10 minutes.
