News ADINA R&D, Inc., creator of software for fluid flow with structural interactions (FSI), has recently developed and supports a direct interface to EnSight, extreme visualization software from Computational Engineering International, Inc.

The interface will allow ADINA-CFD users to import results directly into EnSight for high-end visualizations.

“We are pleased to now have established an interface between ADINA-CFD and EnSight, a tool widely used for post-processing. We see EnSight as particularly valuable when post-processing results of very large CFD models" says Jan Walczak, principal lead with ADINA R&D, Inc.

In addition to the interface for ADINA-CFD, ADINA R&D is working on an interface for ADINA-structures.

“ADINA CFD solver is a good fit for our visualization tools because of EnSight’s ability to visualize complex FSI problems,” says Darin McKinnis, vice president of sales and marketing at CEI. “Many of our customers utilize EnSight for visualizing FSI results. The ability to bring ADINA-CFD results into EnSight will enable much better understanding of these complex interaction problems.”
